Automatic offside tests
The first Saot (Semi-Automated Offiside Technology) exercises were carried out in Lissone in recent days in the presence of the Serie A referees. The technical tests of the automatic offside were carried out, those that are already applied in the Champions League and in these days World Cup in Qatar.
The green light from the Federation will be needed in the coming days, but the referees worked for two days in the Var center of Lissone to be ready for the resumption of the championship in early January, to use this new technology which will further reduce the error on offside.
