At Juventus, the situation surrounding Dusan Vlahovic remains a hot topic. The Serbian striker is not part of Igor Tudor’s plans, yet his departure is still complicated due to the demands of his entourage and the player’s own intentions, as he has no intention of giving up his substantial salary. But how much does the Serbian cost the club, and what would a potential transfer mean?

Vlahovic and Juventus: Figures and Impact on the Budget
Dusan Vlahovic’s gross salary is around €20 million, which translates to €12 million net. This means that, for Juventus’ accounts, his total financial weight is approximately €39 million per year. Considering the progressive amortization of his total cost, by last June the residual book value on the club’s accounts stood at around €20 million. Since a player’s book value increases in January due to partial amortization, Juventus has two options: sell him now to avoid a loss — meaning they need to make at least €20 million — or wait for the winter transfer window, when the residual value rises.
Plans for a Potential Sale
To secure a capital gain, Juventus would have to sell him for around €40 million — generating a profit of roughly €20 million. This would also relieve the club of a massive wage burden, saving approximately €40 million per year, easing both the budget and compliance with Financial Fair Play rules.
However, much will depend on the demands of Vlahovic’s entourage, which reportedly amount to around €10 million in commissions. Damien Comolli has no intention of compromising, but negotiations will be necessary to avoid incurring a financial loss on what was once a major investment. Vlahovic’s performances have not met expectations, and now Juventus must figure out if they can offload him without ending up in the red.
