PSG dominates the 2025 Champions League Final: Inter collapses under five goals
A Champions League final without suspense. At the Allianz Arena in Munich, Paris Saint-Germain crushed Inter 5-0, winning the first Champions League title in their history. A resounding victory, built with rhythm, technique, and intensity, that wiped out any Nerazzurri hopes.
Luis Enrique’s side imposed their style from the opening minutes: Achraf Hakimi broke the deadlock in the 12th minute, followed eight minutes later by the young Désiré Doué, who finished off a superb team move. Inter tried to respond but was overwhelmed by Parisian pressure: in the second half, Douéscored again in the 63rd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a stunner at 73’, and Senny Mayulusealed the rout late in the game.
How much does PSG earn from winning the Champions League?
Beyond sporting glory, PSG also celebrates a financial triumph. By winning the final, the French club will pocket over €130 million through UEFA prize money, market pool, and historic ranking bonuses. This figure could rise thanks to the ripple effect of victory: more sponsorship deals, record-breaking shirt sales, a stronger global brand, qualification for the 2025 UEFA Super Cup, and participation in the new FIFA Intercontinental Cup.
After years of heavy investments and bitter disappointments, the Qatari ownership can finally rejoice: Paris is the new capital of European football.
Inter left with only disappointment: a technical and mental collapse
For Inter, the final turned into one of the darkest nights in recent memory. Outplayed, confused, and never truly in the match, Simone Inzaghi’s team revealed all its weaknesses against a far superior opponent.
Despite the heavy defeat, the Nerazzurri will still receive around €100 million from their European campaign, but the clear gap seen on the pitch raises serious questions about how to strengthen the squad and step up internationally.
Paris Saint-Germain are European champions: a long-term project fulfilled
Paris Saint-Germain are champions of Europe. A one-sided final rewards a project built patiently over the years, finally brought to fruition. Inter leaves with broken bones and must rebuild with clarity, aware that staying at this level will require new investments, ideas, and perhaps a major shift in mindset.
