Pedro, Top Scorer in the World in 2024

With his goal against Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil victory on July 31, Pedro further cemented his lead as the top scorer in the world in 2024. The Flamengo star reached his 29th goal, widening the gap from China’s Wu Lei, who is in second place with 27 goals.

In the Campeonato Carioca win, Pedro was the top scorer of the competition, scoring 11 goals in 12 matches.

In the current edition of the Campeonato Brasileiro, he is also the top scorer, with 10 goals in 19 games. He has also scored several goals in the Copa Libertadores and Copa do Brasil.

Pedro’s Career

Pedro began his career in Flamengo’s youth academy but transferred to Fluminense at a young age. At Fluminense, he quickly developed, debuting in the first team in 2016.
