His performance began attracting attention in 2018 when he scored 10 goals in the Campeonato Brasileiro, establishing himself as one of the top scorers in the competition until he suffered a knee injury that sidelined him for an extended period.
In 2019, after recovering from the injury, Pedro was sold to Fiorentina in Italy. However, his time in European football did not go as expected. With few playing opportunities and difficulties adapting, he was unable to showcase his full potential with the Italian team.
At the beginning of 2020, Pedro was loaned to Flamengo, where he quickly became an important part of the squad. His performances for the Rio de Janeiro club were so impactful that Flamengo decided to purchase him outright at the end of that year.
Pedro has been crucial for Flamengo in various competitions. His playing style, characterized by a commanding presence in the area and precise finishing ability, has made him one of the team’s key players. He has been vital in decisive moments, helping Flamengo win significant titles such as the Copa Libertadores and the Campeonato Brasileiro.
