Napoli, here comes Beukema – Napoli has found its new defender: a final agreement for the acquisition of Sam Beukema from Bologna is now very close. He will join Rrahmani and Buongiorno in a highly respectable defensive trio. The deal is worth around €33 million in total, including €30 million fixed and €3 million in bonuses.
Leoni remains on Inter’s radar – Giovanni Leoni is the name that excites Inter fans the most. The young Parma defender has especially impressed against top clubs, and Cristian Chivu would gladly welcome him back. Should real negotiations begin, Parma does not seem willing to offer any discounts.
Roma still targeting Rios, Bologna eyes Pessina
Roma, Rios in sight – One of Roma’s top targets this summer is Richard Rios, a midfielder from Palmeiras. In recent hours, the Giallorossi made an official offer to the Brazilian club: €22 million plus €3 million in bonuses. However, it was already rejected, as Palmeiras would only receive 70% of the fee and also have to pay commissions. They are aiming for a net return of around €20 million.
Napoli, clear target for the goalkeeper position – Napoli is also working on a third signing from Serie A: the chosen one to support Meret in goal is Vanja Milinkovic Savic from Torino.
Bologna likes Pessina – Bologna is searching for a midfielder, and the frontrunner appears to be Matteo Pessina from Monza. Born in 1997, he has a contract until 2027 and is well known to Sartori, who brought him to Atalanta in 2018.
