Copa do Brasil Semifinalists
Corinthians 3-1 Juventude
Juventude had won 2-1 in the first leg at Alfredo Jaconi Stadium.
At the Neo Química Arena, in a match marked by refereeing controversies, Corinthians won 3-1 with André Ramalho scoring the decisive goal in the 52nd minute of stoppage time.
At 6 minutes, Garro took a free kick into the box, the ball fell to Romero, who shot from close range. Goalkeeper Gabriel made a great save, and after the ball bounced off a Juventude defender, Gabriel claimed it again.
Corinthians opened the scoring at 29 minutes. After a scramble for possession, the ball fell to Talles Magno on the edge of the box. The forward passed to Romero, who struck a low cross-shot to score.
Juventude quickly responded. At 32 minutes, Oyama passed to Lucas Barbosa, who collided with goalkeeper Hugo but managed to score. However, after a VAR review, the referee disallowed the goal, citing a foul on Hugo Souza.
Juventude leveled the game at 41 minutes in another controversial moment. Alan Ruschel took a corner, Zé Marcos collided with goalkeeper Hugo, who scored an own goal. The referee went to VAR again but this time confirmed the goal for Juventude, making it 1-1.
In the 11th minute of the second half, Yuri Alberto passed to Garro, who cut into the box and shot with his left foot, but Gabriel made another excellent save.
At 27 minutes, Coronado’s corner was punched away by Gabriel, and Charles’ first-time volley was again stopped by Gabriel.
Corinthians regained the lead at 37 minutes. Garro unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, Gabriel mishandled the ball, and Zé Marcos inadvertently put it into his own net trying to clear it.
The match seemed to be heading for penalties until, at 52 minutes, Coronado delivered a corner to the far post, and André Ramalho rose high to head the ball into the net.
Final score: Corinthians 3-1 Juventude (Corinthians qualify).
Corinthians will face Flamengo in the semifinal.

Athletico-PR 2 (4-5 on penalties) 1 Vasco
Athletico-PR overturned the score from the first leg in São Januário but lost to Vasco on penalties.
At 4 minutes, Zapelli dribbled past Paulo Henrique, cut into the box, and forced a save from Léo Jardim.
Athletico took the lead at 25 minutes. Esquivel crossed, Cuello controlled the ball, and blasted it into the bottom corner, leaving Léo Jardim no chance.
At 33 minutes, Athletico doubled their lead. Gabriel sent Cuello into the box, who flicked it into the middle, and Zapelli was there to head it home.
At 39 minutes, Rayan fouled Esquivel, and after VAR review, the referee sent off the young striker.
Despite being down a man, Vasco pulled one back before halftime. At 45 minutes, Lucas Piton crossed, and Vegetti rose above Esquivel to head the ball into the corner.
In the first minute of the second half, Esquivel’s cross fell to Cuello, who shot across the goal, but Léo Jardim made a great save.
At 3 minutes, Cuello crossed again, Mastriani had a free header, but Léo Jardim produced another fine stop.
At 18 minutes, Zapelli sent a beautiful through ball to Canobbio, who found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper. The Uruguayan tried to square it to Mastriani, but the ball went wide.
The match went to penalties, where all players converted except for Canobbio, whose effort was saved by Léo Jardim.
It fell to Vegetti, Vasco’s most important player, to score the decisive penalty and send his team through.
Vasco will face Atlético-MG in the semifinal.

Flamengo 1-0 Bahia
Flamengo beat Bahia 1-0 again, securing their 17th Copa do Brasil semifinal, a record, with Grêmio trailing behind with 16 semifinals.
At 6 minutes, Éverton Ribeiro set up Everaldo, who found himself one-on-one with Matheus Cunha but shot wide.
At 7 minutes, Bruno Henrique teed up Gerson, whose first-time effort was saved by Marcos Felipe.
At 31 minutes, Luiz Araújo led a counterattack, dribbling past two players before attempting a pass to Bruno Henrique, but Luciano Juba intercepted and cleared for a corner.
At 38 minutes, Arrascaeta’s corner was flicked on by Léo Ortiz, and Bruno Henrique volleyed from close range, but Marcos Felipe saved with his face.
At 3 minutes into the second half, Luiz Araújo played a one-two with Gerson, had the option to pass to Arrascaeta, but decided to shoot, and his effort was blocked.
Flamengo scored the game’s only goal at 9 minutes. Léo Ortiz played a great pass to Bruno Henrique, who squared it for Arrascaeta to tap into the net.
After the goal, Flamengo controlled the match and faced little danger.
Flamengo will play Corinthians in the semifinal.

Atlético-MG 0-0 São Paulo
Atlético held São Paulo to a goalless draw at Arena MRV and advanced to the next round. In the first leg, Atlético had won at Morumbi in the final minute.
At 13 minutes, Bernard broke through the middle and found Scarpa, who shifted onto his left foot and curled a shot toward the corner, but Rafael saved.
At 34 minutes, Liziero crossed, Luciano headed, and Everson calmly gathered.
At 40 minutes, Hulk led a counterattack and passed to Paulinho, who powered a shot on goal, but Rafael made a good save, pushing it out for a corner.
At 49 minutes, Hulk made a brilliant solo run and set up Paulinho, but Rafael pulled off another big save.
At 8 minutes into the second half, Scarpa whipped in a free kick, and Hulk headed from close range, but Rafael was equal to it.
At 30 minutes, Alan Franco passed to Hulk, whose cross-shot went just wide.
At 33 minutes, Michel Araújo found Erick, who controlled the ball but missed badly with a curled effort.
At 36 minutes, Liziero played a beautiful pass to Luciano, who chipped it over the goalkeeper, but Everson made a great save.
At 47 minutes, Hulk hit a well-struck free kick that barely missed the post.
In the final play of the game, Erick crossed into the box, and Everson collected the ball. Calleri appealed for a penalty, but the referee waved it off.
Atlético will face Vasco in the semifinal.
