Bayern 2-2 Real Madrid

With Vini Jr’s performance, Real Madrid secured a late draw and gained a good result to decide the tie in Spain.

Bayern lined up with: Neuer; Kimmich, Kim Min-jae, Dier, and Mazraoui; Laimer and Goretzka (Raphael Guerreiro); Musiala, Müller (Gnabry), and Sané (Alphonso Davies); Harry Kane.

Real Madrid played with: Lunin; Lucas Vázquez, Rüdiger, Nacho (Camavinga), and Mendy; Valverde, Tchouaméni, Kroos (Brahim Díaz), and Bellingham (Modric); Valverde, Vinicius Jr, and Rodrygo (Joselu).

In the first minute, Mazraoui surged down the left and passed to Kane, who set up Sané for a clear chance on goal. The German struck it across, but Lunin made a great save with his feet.

At 6 minutes, Kane provided another good pass to Sané inside the box, who shot over the goal.

By the 8th minute, Kane noticed Lunin off his line, attempted to catch him off guard, and took a shot from midfield. The ball went over the goal, causing a stir in the stands.

At 23 minutes, Kroos delivered a beautiful pass to Vini Jr, who, face to face with Neuer, calmly opened the scoring.

At 24 minutes, Kane struck a powerful free-kick from outside the box, narrowly missing the post.

Five minutes into the second half, Bellingham passed to Kroos. At the edge of the box, the German placed a shot, but Neuer made a great save.

Bayern equalized at the 8th minute with a superb goal from Sané. The number 10 received on the right, easily passed Mendy, and unleashed a rocket into the corner.

Bayern kept up the pressure and earned a penalty in their favor at the 10th minute. Musiala was brought down by Lucas Vázquez in the box, and the referee pointed to the spot. Harry Kane converted, sending Lunin the wrong way and putting Bayern ahead.

At 33 minutes, Modric delivered a beautiful through ball to Vini Jr, who entered the box and struck with his left foot. Neuer made another great save.

At 36 minutes, Vini Jr passed to Rodrygo, who turned past Kim Min-jae. The South Korean brought him down, and the referee immediately signaled for a penalty. Vini Jr slotted it down the middle, sealing the final score.

With his two goals against Bayern, Vinicius Jr further solidified his statistics in the Champions League. Over the last three editions, the Brazilian has dominated offensive actions:

Borussia Dortmund 1-0 PSG

Borussia secured a victory over PSG with a goal from Füllkrug in the first half, taking an advantage into the return leg in France.

Borussia Dortmund fielded: Kobel; Ryerson (Wolf), Hümmels, Schlotterbeck, and Maatsen; Sabitzer, Can, and Brandt (Nmecha); Sancho, Füllkrug (Moukoko), and Adeyemi (Reus).

PSG lined up with: Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Lucas Hernández (Beraldo), and Nuno Mendes; Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, and Fabián Ruiz; Dembélé, Mbappé, and Barcola (Kolo Muani).

At 10 minutes, Dembélé made a sharp cut past the defense and attempted a shot from outside the box, narrowly missing Kobel’s goal.

At 13 minutes, Borussia stole the ball in PSG’s defensive half. Brandt passed to Sabitzer, who nearly scored from close range, but Donnarumma made a good save.

At 35 minutes, Schlotterbeck delivered a great pass to Füllkrug, who controlled, entered the box, and struck a powerful left-footed shot to score the only goal of the match.

At 43 minutes, Adeyemi crossed from the left, Füllkrug laid it off for Sabitzer, who shot powerfully, but Donnarumma made a good save. The Germans then appealed for a penalty as Marquinhos challenged Maatsen, but the referee waved play on.

PSG started the second half better and threatened in the early minutes.

Six minutes into the second half, Mbappé received on the left, cut inside, and hit the left post. Hakimi then took a shot from the rebound, hitting the right post this time.

At 10 minutes, Marquinhos delivered a beautiful cross to Fabián Ruiz. The Spaniard headed wide inside the box, missing an incredible chance.

At 15 minutes, Sancho made a great individual play down the right, entered the box, and crossed to Füllkrug. The striker’s shot went way over the goal.

At 26 minutes, Mbappé delivered a delicate chip pass to Dembélé, who found himself one-on-one with Kobel, but didn’t strike cleanly, and Kobel made a great save.

At 35 minutes, Hakimi received a good through ball from Vitinha, beat the defense, and passed to Dembélé unmarked near the penalty spot. The Frenchman overhit his shot, sending it over the goal.

With the win, Borussia holds a good advantage heading into the return leg.
