Botafogo 0x3 Cruzeiro
Cruzeiro surprised everyone by beating Botafogo, the league leader until then, at Nilton Santos.
Botafogo opened the scoring in the 13th minute with a play from full-back to full-back. Marlon advanced down the left and passed to William, who controlled the ball and shot across. The ball deflected off the defense and came back for William to try again and score for Cruzeiro.
In the 19th minute, Igor Jesus passed to Tiquinho Soares, who received a cross near the goal area and shot first-time, but sent it over the bar.
Cruzeiro extended their lead in the 37th minute. Matheus Pereira received the ball on the left flank, attempted a cross, and fell to the ground. The ball came back, and lying down, Matheus Pereira passed to Lautaro Díaz, who controlled and scored the second goal for Cruzeiro.
In the last play of the first half, Savarino crossed, Igor Jesus headed powerfully from the small area, and Cássio made a spectacular save.
In the 24th minute of the second half, Savarino crossed, and Luiz Henrique headed close to the post.
Cruzeiro sealed the score in the 32nd minute with a brilliant goal from Barreal. Matheus Pereira crossed, and Barreal struck it first time into the top corner, a beautiful goal.

Palmeiras 0x2 Vitória
Palmeiras fielded a reserve team against Vitória and were defeated, displaying poor football at Allianz Parque.
In the 13th minute, Maurício advanced through the middle and shot from outside the area, Lucas Arcanjo spilled the ball, and then made a great save from Rony’s shot, but the Palmeiras striker was offside.
The first half was weak and had almost no dangerous chances.
Vitória opened the scoring in the 7th minute of the second half. Willian Oliveira passed to Osvaldo on the left, who easily got past Giay, cut inside, and shot into Lomba’s corner.

Juventude 1×2 Criciúma
Criciúma defeated Juventude at Alfredo Jaconi with two goals from Bolasie.
In the first minute, Fellipe Mateus received the ball in the middle, cut past his marker, and shot with the tip of his foot. Gabriel saved and sent it for a corner.
In the 12th minute of the second half, Claudinho found a beautiful pass to Bolasie, who shot past Gabriel to open the scoring.
Juventude responded quickly and equalized in the 15th minute. Jadson passed to Oyama, who shot from distance, took a deflection, and the ball went into the corner.
In the 38th minute, Ronald crossed perfectly, and Bolasie appeared between the defenders to secure Criciúma’s victory.

Bahia and Internacional drew at Fonte Nova.

Fluminense beat Bragantino at Nabizão and claimed their third consecutive victory in the Brasileirão.

Fluminense opened the scoring in the 44th minute. Ganso crossed into the area, and Kauã Elias appeared at the far post to tap it into the net.

In the 43rd minute, Vinicinho received the ball on the left wing, cut inside, and shot with danger.
Fluminense continues their recovery in the fight against relegation, while Bragantino remains mid-table.

Flamengo 2×0 Atlético-GO
Flamengo comfortably defeated Atlético-GO and is the new leader of the Brasileirão.
Flamengo opened the scoring in the 19th minute. Arrascaeta crossed for Pedro, the league’s top scorer, to finish into the net.
In the 48th minute, Roni made a good pass to Janderson, who shot across, and Matheus Cunha saved with his feet.
In the first minute of the second half, Janderson crossed, and Shaylon headed unmarked, prompting another save from Matheus Cunha.
Flamengo extended their lead in the 16th minute. Ayrton Lucas received inside the area and passed to Arrascaeta, who struck first-time to score.
With the victory, Flamengo is the new leader of the Brasileirão, while Atlético-GO is in last place.

Atlético-MG 2×1 Corinthians
Atlético-MG defeated Corinthians with two penalty goals from Hulk.
In the 15th minute, Corinthians launched a quick counterattack, Yuri Alberto passed to Garro inside the area, who attempted a pass to the middle, but the ball went behind Romero, who couldn’t finish.
In the 30th minute, Hulk took a free-kick, and the ball hit Garro, who had his arm outstretched. The referee promptly awarded a penalty. Hulk shot across, and Hugo came close but couldn’t stop Galo’s first goal.
In the 38th minute, Romero made a beautiful pass to Yuri Alberto, who was denied by Matheus Mendes.
In the 39th minute, Garro crossed, and Yuri Alberto headed into the corner, leveling the score.

Athletico-PR recovered from two defeats and beat Cuiabá at Arena Pantanal.

In the 5th minute of the second half, Di Yorio won the battle with Empereur and passed to Canobbio, who beat his marker but shot weakly, and Walter saved.
In the 10th minute, Cuiabá took a short corner, and Denílson shot powerfully with danger.
In the 19th minute, Nikão crossed, and Erick appeared at the far post to head. Walter made a great save.
In the 28th minute, Deyverson received in the area and passed to Pitta, who shot into the corner and scored, but the goal was disallowed because Deyverson was offside.

Grêmio scored the winning goal in the 12th minute. Pavón passed to Soteldo, who entered the area and placed a shot into the corner.
Vasco tried but couldn’t equalize.
