Botafogo 4×1 Flamengo
Botafogo dominated Flamengo, secured a resounding victory at Nilton Santos, and reclaimed the top spot in the league. The team even missed a penalty by Almada in the second half.
Just 3 minutes in, Botafogo opened the scoring. Marlon Freitas sent a long ball to Mateo Ponte, who headed it into the corner, leaving the defense behind.
Flamengo equalized in the 25th minute. Léo Ortiz delivered a beautiful pass to Bruno Henrique, who chipped the ball over John to score.
At 39 minutes, Ponte crossed into the box, Rossi fumbled, Gregore headed it to Igor Jesus, who put it in the net, but Gregore was offside, and the goal was disallowed.
Botafogo regained the lead 9 minutes into the second half. Almada made a great individual play, broke into the box, and shot. The ball ricocheted off Flamengo’s defense, and Igor Jesus sent it home.
At 17 minutes, Luiz Henrique outpaced Ayrton Lucas, crossed, and Igor Jesus missed a golden opportunity. After a VAR review, the referee spotted a foul by Ayrton Lucas on Luiz Henrique, awarding a penalty. Almada stepped up but hit a poor shot, and Rossi made the save.
At 23 minutes, Luiz Henrique received the ball on the right wing, broke into the box, and passed to Tiquinho Soares, who shot from near the penalty spot but sent it over.
At 39 minutes, Savarino crossed, and Matheus Martins appeared at the far post to finish it off, making it 3-1 for Botafogo.
At 46 minutes, Allan was dispossessed by Gerson inside the box. The midfielder shot, and Barboza saved Botafogo’s goal.
At 49 minutes, Allan sent a long ball to Matheus Martins, who easily got past David Luiz and struck with his left foot to seal the rout.
Botafogo reclaims the top spot, which had been held by Fortaleza after their win over Bragantino the previous day.

Grêmio 0x2 Bahia
Grêmio fielded a reserve team against Bahia at Alfredo Jaconi and was defeated with two goals from Thaciano.
At 8 minutes, Éverton Ribeiro slipped and lost the ball to Aravena. The Chilean advanced on the counter and passed to Nathan Fernandes, who shot dangerously across the goal.
At 27 minutes, Arias passed to Everaldo, who unleashed a powerful shot from a tight angle, hitting the post.
Bahia opened the scoring in the 45th minute. Everaldo delivered a pinpoint cross, and Thaciano headed it in from behind the defense.
At 21 minutes, Monsalve took a free kick that hit the wall, the ball came back to him, and he sent a brilliant pass to Natã, who shot powerfully, but Marcos Felipe made a sensational save.
Bahia sealed the win at 31 minutes, once again with Thaciano. De Pena took a tight corner, and Thaciano headed it in.
At 42 minutes, Ratão crossed, Yago shot from close range, and Caíque made a great reflex save.
Bahia secured their second consecutive victory and closed in on the top four, while Grêmio remains near the relegation zone.

Atlético-MG 1×1 Cuiabá
Atlético-MG rested their starters and only managed a draw against Cuiabá at Arena MRV.
Just 5 minutes in, Juan Tavares committed a penalty on Palacios, confirmed after a VAR check. Igor Gomes took the spot-kick and scored, putting Atlético-MG ahead.
At 27 minutes, Lucas Fernandes took a free kick into the box, and Marllon headed it off the post.
At 39 minutes, the referee was called to the VAR and awarded a penalty against Mariano for a foul on Marllon. Pitta took the penalty, and although Éverson got a hand to it, he couldn’t prevent the goal.
At 31 minutes of the second half, Deyverson was through on goal and finished with a first-time shot, but he was offside.

Bragantino 1×2 Fortaleza
Fortaleza secured a last-minute win against Bragantino, taking the Brasileirão lead on Saturday, but ended the round in second place after Botafogo’s victory on Sunday.
With just 7 seconds of play, Fortaleza had a great chance. After a cross into the box, the defense failed to clear, and Moisés shot from near the penalty spot, unmarked, but missed the target.
At 5 minutes, goalkeeper Fabrício made an error, Kayzer passed to Moisés, who scored, but he was offside, and the goal was disallowed.
At 20 minutes, Pochettino took a corner, and after a scramble, Kuscevic shot, and Fabrício saved. On the rebound, Kayzer headed, and Fabrício claimed the ball.
Fortaleza took the lead in the 26th minute. Bragantino’s defense made a huge mistake, and Kayzer passed to Pochettino, who scored.
At 36 minutes, Pochettino committed a foul on Vinicinho in the box. Lincoln coolly converted the penalty to equalize.
At 17 minutes of the second half, Hurtado crossed to Vitinho, who shot from close range, but João Ricardo made a great save.
At 40 minutes, Chumbinho advanced through the middle, entered the box, and shot, but João Ricardo saved again.
Fortaleza scored the winning goal at 45 minutes. Machuca played in Kervin Andrade, who passed to Breno Lopes, who fired a cross-shot to secure the three points for Fortaleza.

Fluminense 0x0 Corinthians
Fluminense and Corinthians played out a goalless draw at Maracanã.
At 4 minutes, Talles Magno passed to Pedro Raul, who found himself one-on-one with the keeper but stopped after being touched by Ignácio. The referee did not call a foul, and Fábio collected the ball.
At 33 minutes, Samuel Xavier received the ball in the middle and shot with his left foot, but Hugo saved.
At 35 minutes, Matheuzinho delivered a perfect cross to Talles Magno, who was unmarked but headed weakly, and Fábio made an easy save.
At 38 minutes, Alexsander crossed, Kauã Elias headed, and Hugo made a great save.
Corinthians thought they had taken the lead in the 17th minute of the second half. In a swift counterattack, Wesley passed to Charles, who slotted it in, but after a VAR review, the goal was disallowed due to a foul by Ryan on Samuel Xavier earlier in the play.
The result was disappointing for both sides, who remain in the relegation zone.

Atlético-GO 1×0 Internacional
Atlético-GO defeated Internacional at Antônio Accioly, ending a 15-game winless streak (13 in the league and 2 in the Copa do Brasil).
At 7 minutes, Atlético-GO broke forward on the counter, Campbell passed to Luiz Fernando, who found himself one-on-one with Rochet but shot wide.
At 36 minutes, Wesley received the ball on the left, dribbled past Maguinho brilliantly, and struck with his left foot, but Ronaldo made the save.
At 19 minutes of the second half, Bernabei got past the defense and passed to Gabriel Carvalho, who shot from outside the box, but Ronaldo tipped it over for a corner.
Atlético-GO took the lead in the 23rd minute. Thiago Maia misplaced a pass in defense, and Jorginho set up Hurtado, who fired into the top corner, giving Rochet no chance.
Atlético-GO finally returned to winning ways after 15 games but remains at the bottom of the Brasileirão, while Internacional sits in 13th place.

Criciúma 2×2 Vasco
Criciúma and Vasco played out a 2-2 draw at the Heriberto Hülse, with Bolasie scoring both goals for the home side.
In the 6th minute, Bolasie crossed to Allano and received it back to open the scoring for Criciúma.
Vasco equalized in the 36th minute with a stunning goal from David. The forward received the ball on the left, cut inside, and unleashed a rocket into the top corner.
Vasco took the lead in the 49th minute. Lucas Piton found Rayan in the box, and he fired home first-time to put Vasco ahead.
In the 9th minute of the second half, Paulo Henrique delivered a brilliant pass to David, who controlled it and found the back of the net, but the goal was ruled out for offside.
Criciúma leveled the match in the 49th minute, once again through Bolasie. Matheusinho floated a ball into the box, and Bolasie headed it into the ground to equalize. The Congolese striker now has six goals in the Brasileirão, three of which have come against Vasco.

Palmeiras 2×1 São Paulo
Palmeiras clinched a last-minute victory in the derby against São Paulo, followed by a brawl between the teams.
In the 27th minute, São Paulo executed a great passing move, with the ball reaching André Silva, who turned Marcos Rocha and forced a fine save from Weverton.
In the 36th minute, Richard Ríos took a shot from outside the box, and Rafael made a good save.
Palmeiras took the lead in the 7th minute of the second half. Zé Rafael attempted a shot, Estêvão got a touch, and Flaco López slotted it home.
São Paulo equalized in the 27th minute. André Silva received the ball in the box, shielded it, and passed to Luciano, who finished in the bottom corner.
In the 31st minute, Felipe Anderson crossed low, and Lázaro scored, but the goal was disallowed as Flaco López was offside and obstructed goalkeeper Rafael.
Palmeiras secured the winning goal in the final play of the match, in the 57th minute. Rony whipped in a cross, Rafael failed to claim it, and Flaco López headed it into the net.
After the final whistle, a mass confrontation broke out between players and staff members.

Athletico-PR 1×2 Juventude
Juventude secured a crucial victory against Athletico-PR at the Ligga Arena.
Juventude opened the scoring in the 30th minute. Erick Farias received the ball in the box and laid it off to Nenê, who tapped it in.
Athletico-PR equalized in the 39th minute. Nikão received the ball on the right, cut inside, and curled it into the bottom corner.
In the 6th minute of the second half, Jadson charged down the right and delivered a perfect cross, but Edson Carioca miskicked and sent the ball wide.
Juventude regained the lead in the 22nd minute. Marcelinho whipped in a free-kick, Yan Souto headed it goalward, Léo Linck slipped, and the ball went in. Léo Linck was immediately substituted after the goal.
In the 43rd minute, Juventude launched a counter-attack, Carrillo unleashed a powerful shot, and Mycael made the save.
In the 51st minute, Athletico-PR missed an unbelievable chance. After a corner and a scramble in the box, Kaique Rocha shot from close range, but Gabriel made the save and held onto the ball.
Athletico-PR and Juventude are now separated by just one point in the standings, occupying the 9th and 11th spots, respectively.

Vitória 2×2 Cruzeiro
Vitória and Cruzeiro wrapped up the round with a 2-2 draw at Barradão.
Cruzeiro rested some starters and found themselves 2-0 down but fought back to draw with two goals from Dinenno.
In the 17th minute, Filipe Machado took a dangerous free-kick, and Cássio made the save.
In the 22nd minute, Luan took a shot, the ball struck Lucas Silva’s arm, and in the ensuing play, Alerrandro scored, but the referee awarded Vitória a penalty and disallowed the goal. Osvaldo stepped up and fired into the top corner to open the scoring for the hosts.
In the 29th minute, Alerrandro scored a stunning goal. Willean Lepo tried to pass to the forward, the defense partially cleared it, and Alerrandro scored a spectacular overhead kick.
In the 38th minute, Neris lost the ball to Kaio Jorge, fouled him, and was sent off.
Cruzeiro pulled one back in the 33rd minute of the second half. Lucas Romero crossed, and Dinenno headed in between two defenders, finding the bottom corner.
Cruzeiro equalized in the 39th minute, again with Dinenno heading home. Matheus Pereira crossed, João Marcelo nodded it down, and Dinenno headed into the net.
Dinenno had another headed chance in the 46th minute, but this time Lucas Arcanjo made the save.
Vitória remains out of the relegation zone, level on points with Corinthians, the first team in the Z4. Cruzeiro sits in 7th place.
