Flamengo 1-1 Palmeiras
Flamengo and Palmeiras faced off again after Flamengo secured a spot in the Copa do Brasil quarterfinals against their rival.
At 2 minutes, Flaco López passed to Giay, who took a shot, but Rossi made the save. On the rebound, Fabrício Bruno cleared the danger.
At 17 minutes, Gerson crossed, and Pedro headed the ball off the crossbar.
At 25 minutes, Luiz Araújo made a beautiful pass to Arrascaeta, who broke into the box and shot with his left foot. Weverton made a great save and sent it out for a corner.
At 31 minutes, Maurício took a free kick into the box, Gómez headed it, Rossi saved, and Flaco López found the back of the net on the rebound. After more than 4 minutes of review, VAR called an offside on the Paraguayan, and the goal was disallowed.
At 2 minutes of the second half, Lázaro sent a long ball to Maurício, who shot with the instep, and Rossi made a good save, sending it out for a corner.

Fortaleza 1-0 Criciúma
Fortaleza continued their good form, defeating Criciúma at the Castelão, and are now the new runner-up in the Brasileirão.
At 9 minutes, Criciúma took a short corner, and Trauco crossed into the box. Bolasie rose between the defenders, heading dangerously, but João Ricardo made a great save.
At 10 minutes, Alano crossed perfectly to Bolasie, who headed over the defenders, but João Ricardo made another excellent save.
At 20 minutes, Moisés advanced and passed to Kervin Andrade in the box. The Venezuelan cut inside and shot with his left foot but missed.
Fortaleza opened the scoring 2 minutes into the second half. Yago Pikachu was played in on the right wing, broke into the box, and set up Moisés, who tapped it in.
At 18 minutes, Marquinhos Gabriel passed to Higor Meritão at the edge of the box. The midfielder skillfully dribbled past the defender and shot with his left foot, narrowly missing the top corner.
Fortaleza secured a crucial victory and is climbing to the top of the table. They are just 1 point behind leaders Botafogo, with one game in hand.

Cuiabá 1-3 Grêmio
In a standout performance from debutant Braithwaite, Grêmio defeated Cuiabá at Arena Pantanal. The Dane was involved in all the goals, scoring twice, netting an own goal, and delivering the shot that led to the first goal for the “Imortal.”
At 23 minutes, Edenílson passed to Braithwaite, who struck first-time and hit the post. On the rebound, Gustavo Nunes headed in, giving Grêmio the lead.
Cuiabá equalized 7 minutes into the second half. Max took a close corner, the ball bounced off Braithwaite and went into the net.
At 16 minutes, Cuiabá won the ball in attack, Derik Lacerda dribbled past Natã, shot with his left foot, and Caíque made the save.
Grêmio regained the lead at 19 minutes. Mosalve made a spectacular play, dribbling past three defenders before passing to Braithwaite to score.
Grêmio sealed the win at 41 minutes. Cristaldo crossed, Braithwaite headed, and Walter made the save. On the rebound, Braithwaite fired into the top corner. A memorable debut for the former Barcelona player.
Grêmio secured an important victory after their elimination against Corinthians in the Copa do Brasil. Cuiabá is in a tough spot in the league, sitting in second-last place.

Cruzeiro 0-0 Atlético-MG
In the Minas Gerais derby, Cruzeiro and Galo played out a goalless draw at Mineirão.
At 7 minutes, Scarpa stole the ball in attack and shot with his left foot, but missed.
Galo had a goal disallowed at 8 minutes. After a corner kick, Arana shot from the edge of the box, and after a scramble, Battaglia tapped it in, but the Argentine was offside, and the goal was ruled out.
Barreal had two chances from the left wing, both times shooting across goal but narrowly missing.
At 38 minutes, Paulinho passed to Scarpa, who struck first-time from outside the box. Cássio made a good save.
At 43 minutes of the second half, Matheus Pereira passed to Arthur Gomes, who shot, Éverson got a touch, and the ball hit the post.
The match ended in a goalless draw.

Corinthians 1-1 Bragantino
Corinthians equalized in stoppage time, escaping defeat at the Neo Química Arena.

At 13 minutes, Garro fired a long-range shot, causing danger.
At 26 minutes, Pedro Henrique dispossessed in attack, and Bidon set up Garro. But the Argentine’s shot from the edge of the box was weak, and Lucão made an easy save.
At 33 minutes, Garro quickly took a free kick from defense, launching Romero. The Paraguayan was one-on-one with the keeper, but Lucão made the save.
Bragantino took the lead at 39 minutes. Raul passed to Helinho, who effortlessly got past Corinthians’ central defenders and finished with a superb strike.
At 15 minutes of the second half, Pedro Henrique evaded a foul and passed to Giovane, who shot dangerously.
At 48 minutes, Helinho had the chance to seal the win. He intercepted André Ramalho’s pass, advanced, entered the box, and shot, but Hugo Souza made a great save.
In the next minute, Talles Magno equalized on his debut. André Ramalho crossed into the box, Hugo flicked it on, and Talles Magno headed into the net.
The match ended in a draw, a disappointing result for both teams, as Corinthians remain in the relegation zone, and Bragantino conceded the equalizer in the dying moments.

Vasco 2-0 Fluminense
Vasco returned to winning ways in the league, halting Fluminense’s streak of four consecutive wins in the Brasileirão.
Vasco opened the scoring at 23 minutes. Payet delivered a free kick into the box, and after a scramble, Vegetti slotted it home. After a lengthy VAR review, the goal was confirmed.
Vasco doubled their lead at 20 minutes of the second half. João Victor dispossessed Ganso, crossed, Vegetti shot first-time, and Fábio made a great save. On the rebound, Victor Luis headed it, Fábio tried to save, but the ball crossed the line.
In a match with few clear-cut chances, Vasco earned a crucial victory and now sits in the top half of the table, while Fluminense remains in the relegation zone.

Juventude 3-2 Botafogo
Juventude took a 3-0 lead, held on, and defeated the league leaders at Alfredo Jaconi.
At 9 minutes, Nenê took a corner, Zé Marcos headed toward the corner, Allan cleared off the line, but Danilo Boza tapped in with his chest.
At 49 minutes, Marcelinho crossed perfectly, and Carrillo headed into the top corner to double Juventude’s lead.
Juventude scored their third goal 3 minutes into the second half. Marcelinho switched play to Nenê, and the veteran played it back for Marcelinho to slide in and score.
Botafogo pulled one back at 24 minutes. Savarino crossed, and Cuiabano headed over the goalkeeper to score Botafogo’s first goal.
At 36 minutes, Botafogo took a corner, Juventude’s defense failed to clear properly, and Marçal struck first-time into the bottom corner.
The comeback stopped there, and the league leaders were defeated.

Bahia 2-0 Vitória
Bahia defeated Vitória at Fonte Nova, returning to winning ways in the Brasileirão.
At 15 minutes, Thaciano played a one-two with Cauly and passed to Éverton Ribeiro, who controlled the ball and shot. The ball deflected off the defense, leaving Lucas Arcanjo helpless, putting Bahia 1-0 up.
In the first minute of the second half, Cauly dribbled past Wagner Leonardo and struck a low shot, but Lucas Arcanjo saved it in two attempts.
At 10 minutes, Filipe Machado took a free kick, Willean Lepu flicked it on, Ryller controlled and shot, but Marcos Felipe made a spectacular save, tipping it out for a corner.
At 21 minutes, Bahia’s defense poorly cleared a cross, and Carlos Eduardo controlled the ball and shot, forcing another good save from Marcos Felipe.
Bahia sealed the win at 52 minutes. Rafael Ratão received the ball on the right wing, performed a nutmeg on Lucas Esteves, and crossed for Luciano Juba to finish into the back of the net.

São Paulo 1-0 Atlético-GO
São Paulo faced Atlético-GO with a completely rotated squad and secured a win with a goal from André Silva.
São Paulo opened the scoring at 15 minutes. Wellington Rato delivered a cross, and André Silva rose beautifully to head into the top corner.
At 46 minutes, Atlético-GO made a mistake in the buildup, Michel Araújo passed to André Silva, who shot, but Pedro Rangel made the save.
At 16 minutes of the second half, Campbell took a free kick, and Jandrei tipped it out for a corner.
At 20 minutes, São Paulo created a quick attack, Michel Araújo passed to Nestor, who went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but Pedro Rangel made a spectacular save.
At 28 minutes, Luiz Fernando crossed, Jan Hurtado controlled the ball with his chest, and attempted a bicycle kick, but Jandrei made a comfortable save.
São Paulo had two more chances with Luciano, but the forward couldn’t convert.

Internacional 2-2 Athletico-PR
Internacional conceded the lead but managed to secure a draw in the 51st minute of the second half at Beira-Rio.
At 6 minutes, Gamarra took a dangerous free kick aimed at Rochet’s goal.
Inter opened the scoring at 12 minutes. Youngster Gabriel Carvalho found Wesley with a brilliant pass, and Wesley calmly slotted it into the back of the net.
Furacão equalized at 39 minutes. Leo Godoy crossed, and after a scramble in the box, João Cruz’s shot deflected off Igor Gomes and into the goal.
Athletico-PR turned the game around at 5 minutes of the second half. Zapelli played a through ball to Canobbio, who finished between Rochet’s legs.
At 11 minutes, Rômulo crossed, Léo Linck made a poor clearance, Gabriel Carvalho mishit his shot, and Wesley headed towards goal, but Leo Godoy cleared the ball off the line, saving Furacão.
Inter equalized in the final minute. At 51, Bruno Gomes took a corner, Alario headed towards goal, Léo Linck made the save, and on the rebound, Wanderson tapped it into the net.
Colorado is now 12 games without a win.
