Inter’s 2-1 victory at Bayern Munich wasn’t only important for moving closer to the semifinal, but also for increasing their UEFA prize money. This new Champions League is the richest ever. That’s why every win and each qualification adds to the millionaire sum clubs can take home.
The 2020–2024 period has seen Inter in the red financially. However, things are slowly improving. That’s thanks to club policies by the Oaktree fund, but above all, to the team’s results. Their Champions League run two years ago, and now this one, have provided vital, unexpected funds.

So far, the club led by president Marotta has already earned nearly 100 million. Advancing further would make Inter the only Italian club to break nine figures, reaching 113 million euros. And that’s just UEFA prizes. A record in our football, as this new (very rich) Champions began only this year, so Inter can collect all that money.
For Inter, that income is crucial. In recent years, they have usually relied on low-cost options in the market. Maybe this fresh UEFA cash and matchday revenue can bring new summer ambitions. Inter needs to refresh the squad, but still follow financial fair play rules.
Individual Bonuses
But success wouldn’t benefit only the club. For such a (potentially) historic achievement, the club has promised players a massive 3 million bonus. One more reason to aim big and eliminate Bayern Munich.
