Since the sale of 90% of SAF to the City Group, the amount spent by Bahia on reinforcements reaches almost R$ 100 million, so Renato Paiva tries to structure the team to perform according to the investments.
The Portuguese coach started the Brasileirão with a 5-3-2 formation, with the three center-backs initiating the ball play, while Kayky and Cauly stay deeper behind Everaldo, with the wing-backs having a lot of offensive freedom, which is of utmost importance for the team’s functioning.
In midfield, Acevedo has been having a good season, finding his teammates well with switches and long balls. The midfielder also has the ability to activate players in the intermediate spaces. A bit further ahead, Cauly has been standing out, as he has a good arrival in the offensive phase, in addition to assisting in the build-up of plays, operating between the two sectors.
In the attack, Everaldo is the goal scorer and, when well supplied, makes a difference. The forward also moves well outside the box, creating options for finishing plays in the final third.
Bahia did not have the expected start to the Brasileirão and is a team in development, therefore Calcio Deal expects them to fight against relegation.
