Coritiba started the season under a lot of distrust and poor performance. Coach António Oliveira lasted only 126 days in office and after a vexatious campaign in the Campeonato Paranaense, with elimination by Cascavel in the quarterfinals, it was eliminated after the first round of the Brazilian Championship, in the defeat by Flamengo.
The new commander Antônio Carlos Zago has the team in a 3-4-3, improvising the left-back Victor Luis as a centerback, while the other full-backs, Jamerson and Natanael play in the forward line, together with two defensive midfielders.
In attack, the best player of the season Alef Manga is the one who takes responsibility and relieves the team when the opponent is better in the game, he works on the left side with an open field to progress and use his dribbling repertoire, however he is often isolated in creation of plays.
In this way, Zago is still looking for an identity for the team, to run a more solid and competent game. Therefore, the Calcio Deal expectation for Coxa in the championship is the fight against relegation.
