Botafogo 0x1 Cuiabá
The championship leader, Botafogo, had complete control throughout the game, yet failed to convert any goals. Cuiabá, on the other hand, in a counterattack breakout, scored their winning goal with Isidro Pitta.
At the 30th minute, Luis Henrique combined with Tiquinho Soares and struck a powerful shot from the edge of the box, but Walter made a great save.
At the 36th minute, Júnior Santos executed a fine individual play, and the ball fell to Eduardo. The midfielder found himself one-on-one with Walter, but the goalkeeper made a spectacular save.

Di Plácido slid in with a tackle against Pitta, and the ball found the net.

At the 26th minute, Tiquinho Soares executed a skillful solo move and delivered a low cross. Eduardo flicked it with a backheel, but Walter made a safe save.
At the 30th minute, Segovinha went down the wing and crossed. Janderson headed it against the crossbar, and the ball went out. At the 42nd minute, Gabriel Pires took a powerful long-range shot, and Walter tipped it for a corner.
The last dangerous opportunity of the match came at the 46th minute. Segovinha took the corner kick, Tiquinho Soares headed it, and Walter reached to the corner, securing the extremely crucial result for Cuiabá.
With the victory, the Dourado sees the relegation zone getting farther and farther, while Botafogo loses some of its lead at the top of the table.
Palmeiras 1×0 Bahia
In a game in which Palmeiras dominated Bahia at Allianz Parque, Verdão won by just 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by Raphael Veiga.

Atlético-MG 2×0 Fluminense
Confirming the excellent second round they have been doing, Galo beat Fluminense at Arena MRV. Both goals were scored by Paulinho, the new stadium’s top scorer with 6 goals in 6 games.
Athletico-PR 1×1 São Paulo
Furacão and São Paulo tied with early goals at the Ligga Arena. Pablo opened the scoring for CAP and Pablo Maia equalized.
Goiás 1×1 Vasco
In the duel between the desperate, Goiás and Vasco they drew in Serrinha. The score did not take either team out of the relegation zone. Vegetti opened the scoring and Babi equalized in stoppage time.
Internacional 3×4 Coritiba
In another crazy game in the Brasileirão, Coritiba beat Inter in the middle of Beira-Rio. In the opening minutes Vitão was sent off and changed the tone of the game. Garcez opened the scoring for Coxa, Alan Patrick equalized with a penalty and Matheus Bianqui once again put the visitors in front. In the second stage Robson scored two penalty goals and Inter scored with Bruno Henrique and Enner Valencia.
Corinthians 1×1 Santos
In the classic of the round, Corinthians and Santos drew 1-1 at Neo Química Arena. Jean Lucas scored against, opening the scoring for Corinthians and Mendoza equalized with a penalty for Santos.
